Marsannay Clos du Roy

100% pinot noir Ruby-red red colour. Medium bodied. Dry. A significant acidity, medium high, noticeable tannins On nose strawberry jam, dried flowers and some spices. Earthy. On the palate red fruit like strawberry, cranberry and cherry. A hint of vanilla. Slightly bitter in the finish Fairly priced given the fact it's a Burgundy. Drinks well but it will gain from time. Served together with duckbreast.
